Vector Space Day Code of Conduct
Vector Space Day is a place for curiosity, learning, and connection. To ensure a welcoming and respectful environment for all participants, we ask that everyone follow this Code of Conduct throughout the event, including during talks, demos, meals, and informal conversations.
💬 Be Respectful
Treat all attendees, speakers, staff, and partners with respect. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or disrespectful behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
🚫 No Inappropriate or Offensive Content
This is a professional, inclusive environment. Content or behavior that is NSFW (not safe for work), obscene, violent, or otherwise inappropriate, whether in conversation, on-screen, or via physical materials, is strictly prohibited.
🙋 Speak Up
If you see or experience something that makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please let a staff member know right away. You can also report concerns confidentially to any Vector Space Day organizer. We're here to help.
📵 Keep It Legal and Respectful
Do not share or promote illegal, pirated, political, or otherwise offensive content. This includes distributing such content in person or digitally (e.g., via QR codes, DMs, or shared files).
💡 Critique Ideas, Not People
We welcome discussion, debate, and feedback. Keep it constructive and focused on ideas—not individuals. Personal attacks or belittling comments are never acceptable.
🛠️ Enforcement
Event organizers reserve the right to remove anyone from the event who violates this Code of Conduct, without refund. Let’s work together to create an environment where everyone can explore the future of vector search and AI with confidence and safety.
